Beautiful Blue Upcycled Cigar Box

This is a hard to find cigar box from My Father Cigars in a beautiful shade of blue with red and gold accents. A departure from the usual brown wood cigar boxes. I sanded and waxed the wood, added a new vintage style clasp and contemporary ball feet. As always when I find a box with colorful labels, I preserve them as they are part of the uniqueness of the boxes.

Beautifully decorated transformed cigar box, given new life and meaning. I used paper and other embellishments from P.S. I Love You, by Graphics 45, decorative metal vintage look metal feet and a sweet little white knob for easy opening. Great gift for that special someone- jewelry collector, spouse, beloved relative, engagement gift, anniversary, birthday or just because. I added a charming little crytstal knob and vintage brass colored feet to complete the theme. Box dimensions: 10x8x2 in. I recommend avoiding placement in damp areas for the sake of the papers.

Julius Caesar repurposed cigar box. . This is a box created for the J.C. Newman Cigar Company in 1895. The only premium cigar maker still owned and operated by the founding company. Perfect for man’s (or ladies) jewelry, dresser box, phone holder, remote storage, desk box coffee table piece and so many other uses. Box is lined is lush purple velveteen fabric and I have added ornate metal feet and corner flourishes. Box measurements: 9.5 in x 8.5 in x2 in.

This is a beautifully grained, 2 toned piece that, in a previous life, served as a cigar box from a Honduran tobacco company. The original labels had been too neglected to restore, so I replaced them with an Italian Florentine patterned paper in a charming floral design. I added stickers with birds and butterfly designs and a set of vintage metal feet, along with a retro design clasp for opening. All wood surfaces have been sanded, waxed and polished for smoothness. Perfect for jewelry, keepsakes, phone or remotes holder, bedside box,etc. Great gift idea for that special person or give yourself a gift! Because it’s repurposed there may be slight imperfections that are signs of a well loved life. Dimensions are 9 x 7 2 in. I advise avoiding placement in a damp area or direct sun for long periods for the sake of the papers.

Beautifully designed repurposed cigar box from Gurkha Cigars, a premium cigar company that originated in Florida more than 100 years ago. Perfect for a man's (or woman's) jewelry box, stash box, phone or remote controls holder, desk box, dresser box, a stylish and unique Dather's Day gift other occasion. I have sanded, waxed and polished all wood surfaces. The labels,which are works or art themselves were left intact. I added vintage look metal feet and a pull ring opener. Box is lined with cordinating brown felt to protect delicate items.  Dimensions: 9 x 6 x2 in.

This stylish black cigar box has been upcycled for use as a jewelry holder, watch or cuff links box, cell phone holder, remotes stash or stash box . I chose a striking abstract paper , added a vintage style clasp, box feet and a coordinating faux leather bottom . Upcycled boxes may have slight imperfections so I always sand, repaint or wax and polish boxes and choose high quality paper and other embellishments in order to make them beautiful again. I like to save the colorful labels from the box, and resuse them as they are often quite striking in design. Box dimensions are 10x8x1.75d. I do advise avoiding damp rooms or areas, for the safety of the papers.

Decorative Cigar Box With Steampunk/Retro Theme. Perfect gift for that antique auto

enthusiast. Retiree~Dad’s Day~Hostess/Host gift~House warming~Desk accessory~Man cave

accessory. For this box I used heavy weight paper and 3d metal keys and gears. Inside box

bottom features a reproduction of one of the drawings used in a patent application for the first

light bulb. Corners left open to show the nicely patterned design in the wood. Box sits on

metal feet and has an old-style latch fastener. Box dimensions are 7.5 x 4 x 4. For box care, I

suggest avoiding direct sun or a highly moist environment, in order to ensure protection for the

paper.

Beautifully decorated repurposed cigar box with images of women in a steampunk theme. I

used images reflecting women in the victorian era. Perfect gift for that teen who loves

steampunk~hostess gift~house warming~ entry way box~ mementoes~ love letters~phone

box~dresser box. I used heavy paper with images of gears, stickers and a vintage style glass

knob.

Brass colored feet add to the overall design. Box dimensions are 8in.l x6.5in. w x3in.h. A double

coat of acrylic sealant has been applied for added protection. I suggest avoiding damp

areas for the sake of

the paper.
